What if we are not in your network?
If we are out of your network, as a courtesy to you, we will file your insurance for you in which case some or all of your out-of-pocket costs will reimbursed by your insurance company or applied towards your deductible.
You also have the option to pay an affordable cash rate.

Can I bill my insurance for reimbursement of my out-of-pocket expenses?
In most cases YES! Patients can get reimbursement for their treatments. You will be able to print claim forms off your insurance company’s website, and send it in with the receipt that I provide for you. This will have all of the billing and treatment codes you will need. The amount of reimbursement is completely dependent on your insurance plan. If you will call your insurance company to inquire, you should ask about reimbursement for “out-of-network” Physical Therapy expenses. All insurance policies are different, but most patients can expect to be reimbursed 40-80% of their session fee.
Do I need a referral from my physician for physical therapy?
In most cases NO! This is because South Carolina is a direct access state. This means you can be seen without a physician’s referral for up to 30 calendar days per SC state law. The only exception is if you are a Medicare beneficiary. If you are receiving Medicare and need a referral, please let us know and we will assist you with getting one.
